METAL Inclinations1 International Exhibition

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: JUNE 30, 2008

The Society for Midwest Metalsmiths presents Metal Inclinations, an International Juried Digital Exhibition that will debut on the Internet October 31, 2008 and run for one year until October 31, 2009. The exhibition will include selections of the most exemplary fine metal art created by metalsmiths, silversmiths, goldsmiths and jewelers all over the world.

BREAKING NEWS: $3,500 in awards, now available!

The three jurors for the Metal Inclinations exhibition are:



Michael Monroe, a well-known and highly respected figure in the crafts community, now head of the Bellevue Art Museum in Seattle, Washington, former head of the American Craft Council and former curator-in-charge of the Smithsonian Institution's Renwick Gallery in Washington D.C.

Marilyn da Silva, professor and program chair of the jewelry and metal arts department at California College of the Arts in Oakland California.

Susie Ganch, Assistant Professor and Head of the Metals Program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia.
