METAL Inclinations, an International online Metalsmithing and Jewelry Exhibition for 2008-09 is presented by The Society for Midwest Metalsmiths. This exhibition includes selections of the most exemplary fine metal art created by metalsmiths, silversmiths, goldsmiths and jewelers all over the world.
Fifty images were selected for the exhibition by our three jurors: Michael Monroe, Marilyn da Silva and Susie Ganch. Seven talented metal artists were selected as award winners for the exhibition. First Place Society for Midwest Metalsmiths Award: Stacy L. Webber Second Place Hauser & Miller Award: Vina Rust Third Place Rio Grande Award: Helen K. Carnac Pasternak Findings Awards of Merit: Miel-Margarita Paredes, Namu Cho, Molly B. Epstein and Jillian A. Moore. The exhibition will remain online for one year. METAL Inclinations is sponsored by the Society for Midwest Metalsmiths with support from: Hauser & Miller Co., Pasternak Findings, Rio Grande Jewelry Supply and Juried Art Services.
