Workshop Description: Tool Making and Repair

Students will learn how to repair, redress and re-sharpen various tools used in their studio.  We will also be addressing:  Jig fixtures for production work and how to make or alter tools for specific purposes.

Have you ever re-dressed a hammer face?  Re-sharpened a bench shear or disc cutters?  Replaced hammer handles or altered them?  This is the class that will take the mystery out of all of that.  Need to know the proper way to use a certain tool?  Then this is the perfect class for you!
